    Hi:

I have exactly the same televiosn yet mine does have a sound menu. I am currently working but would be able to go through my TV menu with you at around 8pm UK time to see if you have a fault.

Wild guess: What remote are you using, the Beo4 or the one that was shipped with early beovision1's (the one with no number pad) if the latter this maybe where your problem lies.

Try to put him on option 1  and maybe will appear.

Or if not, try to connect extra beolab speakers and see what will happen.

Or try to reset to fabric default. Menu + 00 + Go , and than monitor service menu and than reset to default.

But be carful last one will erase all your chanels and settings ...

Re: BV1 LS - no option to change sound

I have the same tv in my bedroom, it is not possible to store the startup volume, it starts up on a average soundlevel based on the listening volume. My TV start on 18-20, when i used it in my livingroom before i bought my BV7 the start volume was 30-32.

On the later model there is a sound menu.

If you want to change the picture settings you also have to enter the service menu.
