    BV 10 & PUC control

    Hi,

I have just got a BV10-40 and have a Panasonic DMR-BW 880 Blu-Ray recorder 500gb hard drive as the DVD player.

The PUC control on the BV10 has the Panasonic DMR-BW 550 (or similar) loaded. It also has the generic Panasonic control for a DVD player loaded as well. I can get most of the functions of the recorder to work but cannot for the life of me get the chapter forward/backward on the DVD part to work. I can use direct chapter selection with the numbers but it would be good if I can just jump forward / backwards with the up/down button.

If I change the PUC control to the generic Panasonic player the up/down button works fine.

I have a Beo 5 /Beo 4 and they both good in their own way. Probably the easiest is the Beo4.

Any hints or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Peter

Re: BV 10 & PUC control

Did you try the GO - UP, GO - DOWN, GO- LEFT, GO - RIGHT functions?

And maybe there is a PUC 2.0 for your Panasonic player. That might solve the problem using the new Beo4 navigation...(?)

Re: BV 10 & PUC control

    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your help. Finally got it to work after seeing another post about using GO & Yellow button. In this case it's GO & Red for back and GO & Blue for forward.

Logical...... no, but at least it works.

Next step is the stand. It's been back for repair but still won't work on my TV. The stand had a short and I'm hoping it hasn't killed the stand control inside the TV.

The TV's aren't that portable to lug to the dealer.

    Peter
