What is in your opinion the best harddisk or DVD recorder to control via a BeoVision 7 - 40. Im looking for a product that is in the STB/PUC list.

With best i actually mean; what is the easiest to control? And value for money is of course an essence.

And no, a HDR 2 is not an option. Im looking for something with HDMI.

Blueray recording is here/soon with freeview or freesat can't remember which one!...a sony unit.

i've got a sony hdr860 connected to my avant via scart rgb, it's really rather good

i'm sure it would be even better via it's hdmi to the bv7 plus it will upscale dvd's via hdmi and play multi region too

the recordings on mine are excellent , just make sure you get as big an hd as possible as no doubt it will soon start to get filled up !!

It has to be one i can go and buy in a shop tomorrow.

What is this sony called in the PUC list?
