I have fitted an ariel amplifier to distribute sky and and FM signal around the house at my parents, the amplifier indicated a short on the Beomaster ariel input, I checked it with a continuity test, I get a clear mono signal but I am unable to receive stereo without a lot of hiss. (£ element ariel on the roof but semi rural location) when I got home I also found that my Beomaster 6000 ariel socket was the same, so asume that this is correct and I cant use an ariel amplifier with a beomaster? Comments and advice are welcome!
