Peter's idea of tapping the tape connection is probably the best, if it turns out to be easy as that.
Anyway, it's possible to use the phono input at line level with an inverse RIAA equalizer. As it doesn't require any amplification, it can be a completely passive thing (no power needed) and is easy to construct, if you know which end of a soldering iron gets hot:

It will most probably add some noise because of the unnecessary attenuation/amplification step, but would allow you to connect line level sources without touching the insides of the Beocenter. And you could then still plug in a record player, if needed.
On the other hand, bypassing the internal RIAA preamp might be easy as well. The service manual for the receiver only version (Beomaster 2200) was on site, and in that the tape and phono connectors and the pre-amp are on a separate circuit board which has line level outputs for phono.
