    Services transformer ml / mcl

anyone got one out there? - it is the first transformer in and provides standby power/services to the unit!

Anyone know the secondary output of this piece ie ac volts - I have one but the primary on the transformer is open circuit and i would like to fire the unit up using an external secondary source to check the operation of the unit before commotting to a new transformer etc!

    Thanks guys in advanceUnsureHmm

    Tony,

The following is what I provided you in a PM a couple of days ago.

There is at least two types of power supply and transformer, I do not know which you have so I am including the drawing for both below:-

Sorry Keith missed that - the unit is as in the second shown ie 1653, but cannot see an indicated voltage think it may be 12v or even higher as various inc droppers are used inthe various circuits, just trying to may doubly certain before venturing forward and making mistakes!!

If you have a "Type" 1653 then you have a US version wired for 120 volts. The wiring links on the transformer are shown below, but if the primary of the transformer is open circuit as you previously said, then you will need to purchase a new transformer from B&O.
