    Beomaster 5000 and Masterlink

If I connected a Beomaster 5000 via a Beolink converter to a B&O TV. Would this mean I could control the BM5000 with a Beo4 or Beolink 1000?

    Re: Beomaster 5000 and Masterlink

If I remember correct BM5000 does not respond to the Beolink 1000/Beo4 commands.

However maybe it could work if it was A.Option 0?

    Best regards

I don't think the BM5000 could have different options set. I think the only way to do wjhat you want is to get the IR code converter like the one I brought to King Street. The 5000 does not have an Audio Aux connection, just the CD/Aux and I don't think this has the capability of the later systems.

I don't have a 5000 here to test this though! If anyone knows differently, please post!
