    BEOMASTER 5500

I just inherited a beomaster 5500... I cannot figure out for the life of me what I am doing wrong. The tuner lights up, but the modes are not changing. The master remote works, it switches through modes but tuner is not changing and no sound is coming out. (Stuck in Tape, and I do not even have a tape to see if any sound is coming out from that)  Could it be in some kind of locked mode?

    Thank you! Cybele

    Re: BEOMASTER 5500

Hi Cybele and welcome to BeoworldSmile

Your beomaster may be set to the wrong option if it has been used as part of a link set up. You need to change it to option 1 by ensuring it is in stanby mode then pressing "sound" then "1" then "store" on your remote. If it has been set to option "0" then it will display the symtpoms you have described.

    Chris.
