    Flashing Standby Light- what does it mean?

    I have a flashing standby light on my BV7-40 mk3. I cannot find anything in the manual as to what this means. Does anyone have any ideas?

    I have no experience with BV7, but could it mean there is no DVD in the tray, or the tray is open?

    had same problem w/ an avant

    reboot from this thread worked for me

    checked that - sorry I afraid it wasn't the problem - still flashing.

    have you tried power off wait two minutes power on!!!
