    Connecting AppleTV to Beovision3

    Hello all,

I was lucky enough to get an AppleTV for my birthday, but am unsure if I can connect it to my Beovision 3...

I love my TV and don't want to get a new one... Does anyone know of what leads I would need to get...

Your help would be really great!

    Many thanks James

After a quick search i found this thread ( http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/2943.aspx ). Haven't read it though and it is for an Avant, but i suspect it also works on a BV3. It seems there is a converter for this.

    Hello James,

It's very easy. A little and cheap scart adaptor will do the job. See here.

    Re: Connecting AppleTV to Beovision3

    Hi,

Has anyone managed to connect an Apple TV to a BV3? i thought it was more complicated and requireed a signal converter rather than a scart adapter. I looked at the link from the previous post and that went to the apple website which didn't indicate a scart connector/adaptor was available. I've been holding off from the apple TV as I thought I would need to spend another £100 on signal converter.

    Any advice welcome.

    Thanks, Jon.

Unfortunately the signal adapter seems the only way to connect an AppleTV to a CRT ..

£90 still seems rather steep to me.

Blame Apple for being just a bit too far ahead of the rest of the industry
