Airport Express linked to Avant: Masterlink?

    Hi All

I have an Airport Express linked to the camcorder inputs on my 32" RF VCR Avant in the main room. The sound plays through this TV no problems, yet in a linked room it does not!

I get Virgin V+ and my DVD1 in the linked room no problem (they are all attached to the Avant in the main room), so can't understand why the above doesn't work?

    Any ideas chaps?

    Thanks

The Camcord socket is a local socket only and doesn't get distributed - I had the same probelm when I hooked up my IPOD into it and wanted to distribute the sound and picture.

Because there are only two available scart sockets on the back of the avant the only option (I think) is to get an AV2 expander and plug DVD1 into one and airport in the other.

I did this and it works fine - although I don't have a DVD1 but a Panasonic DVD so was able to use an autoswitching Scart selector instead.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realise that the Camcorder was local only!

Do you think I could unplug the VCR (never use it anyway) and use that free SCART socket?

    Cheers
