Master Control Linked Rooms and Beovisions

I have a couple of linked rooms (BM 7000 master) that I have speakers in - one pair active the other passive.  I also have a TV in the same room - but do not have the TV's linked (and do not want to).  Is there some option to avoid changing the BM 7000 to a TV input when trying to change channels, witch the system on (or off) or control a VTR in a separate room where it is only the audio part that is directly linked???

Is Option 0 the answer on the televisions please?

Is the TV in the same room as the BM 7000?

I have an Avant in the same room as the BM7000 - I have a TV in my bedroom and another in the kitchen  - where speakers form the BM7000 all used to work (prior to the MX1500 and MX4000)....

What I suggest as I see you are a gold member of the forum is that you download the PCG programme and it will tell you exactly what option you need for your setup.

I have used the configuration guide - but it does not allow one to choose to have TV's as a separate entity - it assumes that they are always connected into the link system!  That is why I am hoping someone else may have come across this issue!!!

I think it should be option 1 for the TV and option 5 for the Audio.

Set one to option 4 and you will need to press Link before it works. There are some options in the List of the Beo4.

Thanks for the reply - when you mention the List of the Beo4 do you mean on the remote itself or in the instruciton manual?

Are there differnces in Beo4s (apart from the obvious DVD button) in how they react  - in other words if I move the Beo 4 from one room to another will it need ti be "set" to control everything in the entire house?
