Can I add a DVD1 to the BV7-40 and be able to use it in link rooms with full control? .

How does it work then? If I use DVD2 or CD2 can I use all the standard commands, stop start << >> etc... It's just that I was told this would not work... Based on original information I bought a Denon DVD and went up and down the stairs to start it and stop it for years ...

You would call it by pressing DVD2, from the main room or from the link room. It would operate in the same way locally and from the link rooms. Just like your integrated DVD.

Why do you need an external DVD, the internal is not enough?
