All, have been fiddling with beoport today and am stumped...

I am planning on using BP with my AV9000, BS9000 and lab8000s and lab2.

At the moment, I have the BP set to option zero.  When I select nmusic on beo4, the 9000 displays nmusic but my speakers are off... however when I select NM on BP, my speakers are activated.

I have my speakers connected to BP so am wondering can I use my 9000 to turn the volume up or is this only controlled locally via beo4? and when I select TV or CD, I no longer have my speakers?

All the speakers should be connected to the TV.

TV : Option 2

BS9000: Option 0

Beoport: Option 6

Now, do I need a powerlink connection to BP?  and how do I set the 9000 to option 0?

yes, same room.

Have you connected the Masterlink cable between all these elements?

Yes, all connected via masterlink in an established setup.  All i did was simply add beoport to use in addition to my main setup which is as above.

Well, then it should be as I suggested earlier.

All speaker on TV, so you get 3.1 surround.

No IR eye connected on the Beoport.

Powerlink not used on Beoport.

If you have a PC with external speaker, try connecting them on the mini jack that is on the Beoport.
