    Beolink 1000 manual

Does anyone know where to find Beolink 1000 manual? I want to Beo 1000 to operate my BeoMaster 3300 and CDX.  Thanks in advance.

    Re: Beolink 1000 manual

Hi there and welcome to Beoworld.
The 3300 came with its own commander, but it uses Beolink 1000 codes and therefore should be able to control with the 1000.~
Most commands are self explanatory, are you trying to do something complicated?

No, I am not try to do anything complicated. How to make Beolink 1000 talk to 3300? do I have to go thorugh an initial setup like other remote control device?

    Thanks for quick response.

    Re: Beolink 1000 manual

I'm sorry, I have no experience of the 3300 and therefore not sure whether Option programming had been introduced in those days.
Might I suggest that if you don't get any help on here today, you post the question again on the general forum or the Workbench.
I would be interested in the outcome.

    Re: Beolink 1000 manual

The beolink 1000 will work fine with your beomaster 3300, no programming required.

You won't have remote control of the CDX though as this model of CD player doen't have remote control facility. For that you would need to replace it with a CD3300, CD3500 or CD4500 if you want to keep the same general styling. Personally I like the CDX as it sounds much less sterile than any other B&O player (except possibly the CD50 which sounds very similar). You can also connect any of the stacking B&O CD players and have remote operation - CD50, CD5500, CD6500 & CD7000 but these are not reallly the best match cosmetically to the Beomaster 3300.

Thanks, I got beolink to talk with 3300, But not cdx as you said.  How to set beolink to talk to BeoMaster 5000? I don't have a master control panel, just a terminal 5000 controller.

    Re: Beolink 1000 manual

    the 1000 will not work w/ a bm5000.
w/ that said: i believe there is a converter available to translate the codes, but hard to find.
there is a link out there somewhere -i'll edit in here if i can find it.

    found it

only the t5000 (that you already have) or the mcp will work w/o effort.
