    Beomaster 900 signal strength meter

I now have 3 Beomaster 900's (I didn't have an M model before, so I just had to buy this nice unit with a black front, type 2222-3...) and two of them have trouble with the signal strength / tuning meter. Basically it works, but it will not lower below a certain point. It seems to be a mechanical problem, since the needle stays high even when disconnected. Has anyone managed to fix these? I see there's a calibration screw on the side of the actual gauge, but it just moved the needle a little.

I hope not! Laughing The 900K in my avatar was my first piece of B&O, so I have a soft spot for this model. I probably won't be satisfied until I have a 900RG as well... (fat chance finding one in Finland, though). That 900K spends the warm seasons at the summer house, the other one is in use on the girlfriend's window sill and this M will... umm... I guess it'll stay at the office, watching it gets me in a good mood. Earlier today I connected it to the RL60.2's and played some mp3's through it, and the sound amazed everyone, including me!

Did you get yours back already, Jandyt?

Yes mate. Tim Jarman did a sterling job on it. He sourced and replaced 4 transistors for me. Lee was kind enough to have it couriered up for me.
It's now in use in my bedroom, sounds lovely and mellow, looks great in the dark too. One of those 'keep it forever' items.
