    BeO5 and GENEVA SOUND SYSTEM

    My Boss gave me for chrismas a GENEVA sound System XL, do I have any chances to comand it with my BeO5?

    Not easily! It is possible as the Beo5 can be programmed to emit the correct remote sequences but only Keith seems expert in this.

    In practical terms, the answer is no!

    David,

    It is certainly possible, but would take a lot of work even for the most knowledgable person.

    You would need to start by determining if its normal remote uses some of the common and standard codesets, if it does, then that makes life much easier. If it does not, then you will have to produce IR bitstreams for each command and determine in microseconds the timing of the pulses, if you have the equipment, then this can be quite straight forward. Once you have the bitstream codes, then an XML file would need to be produced which would be used by the Beo5 Configuration Tool.
