    Beo4, different versions

Recently bought a MX4200 TV, with a new Beo4 remote control. The Beo4 (I used a older version with my MX7000), differs quite a bit from the older one; the surface is blue-grey instead of silvergrey (old one) and the casing has a rougher, less polished finish/feel to it. I didn't know the consecutive Beo4's did differ that much, I thought only the buttons were changed.

I remember reading somewhere that the early Beo4's were made of much more plastic but had quality issues so changed to the metal ones we have now.

there never was a "plastic" BEO4, just the top plate got another finish.

and the paint is less "polished" because it's newSmile

I knew I'd read they were made of plastic somewhere - it's here http://beocentral.com/beo4

I was surprised when I first rad it but forgot where I'd seen it. Good old Google!
