OT; How to include a link

Can someon pleae explain how to include a html  link so that when one clicks on it, it actually takes you to the site.

I know there is a button above the text I am typing,  but at least under safar that doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I am afraid that this site and Safari are not the best of bedfellows. For this reason, I always use Firefox . I can confirm that the link button doesn't work! We are about to upgrade the site and this should fix this and a couple of other Safari issues.

The link button works in Firefox.

What you have to do is paste in your link-URL in your message, then SELECT it, so that it is highlighted - the whole link.

    Then click the link-button.

Again paste the link URL into the dialog box, click OK.

    Your link is now active.

This does not work in Safari.
