Addition of a BeoLab 2 sub woofer

I have recently purchased a Beosound 3200 with Beolab 6000 speakers. i would be gartful if anyone can advise me whether a beolab 2 is a worthy addition to the system or any other thoughts about adding sub-woofers? (all a bit new for me!) cheers

Re: Addition of a BeoLab 2 sub woofer

G'day, welcome to B&O and a super forum to chat about it! Nice choice there, beautiful design. This topic is a popular one, i would say a big yes to adding a subwoofer to the 6000's. The question is, which one.

Ask your dealer for a home demo of the BL2 and see what you think of the sound. The BL2 really is good in this situation, because it filters the un-needed bass out of the 6000's which leaves them able to send you a more detailed sound, the 6000's are great, but on their lonesome, i doubt them as main speakers.

I used to have a similar setup and in a word, yes, the lab2 is a must have and the thing is that once you have added a lab2, there is no going back!

I would recommend a lab2 with any lab speaker bar the 5s (9s aswell but yet to hear a pair).
