what have you last recorded on your Century?

For 12 years , I have enjoyed my Century. Easy to use, it stands on a dining room wall ready to seize any interesting tunes on the radio.

One of my last best catch was a fine recording of Purcell's  Dido and Aeneas by William Christie and les Arts Florissants broadcasted some time ago  by French radio-station Radio Classique. What about you ?

I have never used it to record! I always used my 7000 system as one could set this to timer record anything. Recently simply used Listen Again from the BBC!

    Hi  Peter,

Thanks for your contribution, one thing I can add is that the recordings made at home can easily be listened to in the old car.( Not the one seen on my avatar!).

Besides,  I would be bothered if the old machine ended its long career as B&O 's range doesn't make  an affordable music system as complete as the Century anymore.

     Regards

    Hi Kokomo,

Thanks for your reply. I came upon another fine piece this time it was on a CD  :

Jacobus De Kerle's  Missa da Pacem Domine by Huelgas Ensemble directed by Paul Van Nevel.

Turn off the light. Set your Century to volume 35 : you are in Heaven!
