    A classic stand question

    Hello all,

I have a classicBeoVision LX 2500 BeoVision LX 2500 TV which is currently doing the job for me. Unfortunately it is sitting on my sanded floor (which doesn't look too bad in my minimalistic bachelor style pad) but it does need to come off the floor. I know these boxes came with a stand and I'm trying to see if I can still find something to put it on. Does anyone know what type would fit this box or has anyone any recommendations to what would be best to sit it on?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, and welcome to Beoworld. Its worth looking on Ebay as the original stands do come up from time to time.

The stand used with most of these types of Beovision looked as below:-

    Re: A classic stand question

I have a stand that came with my LX2800 and looks like the one in Keith's picture that I don't use as the LX2800 currently on a pine corner unit in the bedroom. I also have an LX2502 so I will have a look underneath and see if it fits the LX2502. It's quite an awkward shape though, so I am not sure how I could get it to you!

Might be worth keeping an eye out on eBay locally as I have seen non-working examples on stands go for literally pennies.

    Re: A classic stand question

What did you find out, Simon?

I have a stand for an LX2500, but have an LX2800, so I was wondering if the only difference between the stands is the length of the bar, or if the bracket is another size as well...

EDIT: I have done some more testing myself, and it seems that the only difference is the length of the bar!
