    Controlling vx7000 via remote

I will be getting a Beocord vx7000 (if all goes to plan) soon. As far as I know one can only control the becord via remote through a Beovision. Is this correct? I was wondering if there is anyway to get around this as I don't have a Beovision at the moment.

     Thanks

    Yes that is correct.

I own a 2 way version VX7000 and you can only use play and eject without a Beolink 1000.

When I bought it the seller had bought a LCD screen and could not use the VX anymore because of the Beolink is needed in order to control it.

With a LX/MX style Beovision it works well though.

It is possible to get a sensor fitted - or it was! Goodness knows where you can get an eye from these days! Apparently it is possible to adapt a normal MCL eye but you will need someone who knows what they are doing!

The VX5000 has a jack plug to fit an external sensor but the VX7000 needs it wiring internally.

Yes, i noticed the socket for the external sensor on VX5000 and VX5500,
    but not on the VX7000.

Are there other differences between VX7000 and VX5000/5500 ?

The quality of the picture from the RF-modulator on my VX5500 is getting worse
and i was thinking of replacing it with a VX7000 (to distribute video to the bed-room).

Is this still possible with a VX7000 ?

Is there anyone who knows how to add a vx sensor internally on a vx7000?
