Can you explain your setup? It may help identify the problem.
I do not have BS1 connected to VCR but there is an output for recording to VCR. Connecting it to VCR or DVD Recorder should do the trick, however you need can use VCR's own remote to start recording.
To use this with Beo4 remote you need to have your VCR(non B&O I assume) set to recieve IR signals via IR cable connected to the same output. Of course model of your VCR has to be listing in BS1 list of VCR's.
