BV8 and BC2 Question - Delayed Sound for Music

    Hi,

I have a BC2 connected to a BV8. My speakers are attached to the BV8 as well.

What bugs me a bit is, if I put in a music CD, it starts playing, however it takes 3 to 5 seconds until my BL3 speakers that are connected to the TV turn on.

I have scart and ML connection between BC2 and BV8.

Any ideas if this is normal which I doubt or if I can re-configure that thing somehow? It does not happen when I connect the speakers straight to the TV but that somehow defeats the purpose.

    Cheers

    JK

    Not correct.

The BV8 & BC2 needs to communicate to each other trough the ML... so both are needed! Especialy for the audio part.. (CD/Radio)

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

question is still there, why do the BL3 need a few seconds to turn on. This is not the delay caused by the BC2 checking if it is a DVD or CD. The CD is actually playing.

Very strange... Since the BL3's are connected to the BV8... Do they also need that much time when you start up the TV?

The scart can only be used to activate the DVD player - not to activate it as a CD player or use the Radio section. You can play CDs through the DVD function, but it's better not to IMO.
