    LAB 10 v 7.2v 7.4

May I enquire who has purchased the lab 10 when previously may have owned the other centre speakers.

Spec of the lab 10 seems a 'bit light' for the price but does it offer real advantages ??

    Isn't it just a redesigned BL 7.4?

You'll have to compare the BL10 with the BL 7.4 as both are mono speakers intended to be used in a surround setup.

BL 7.1&4 are first of all intended as stereo speakers for the BeoVision 7.. where the BeoVision is not part of a complete surround soundsetup...

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

I have the Beolab 10 and can attest that it's a truly wonderful center channel speaker. The dialog is now very crisp and clear. There's even quite a bit more bass. Asthetically, it's great because it's not as deep as other speakers.

Prior to the Beolab 10, I was using a pair of Beolab 6000 speakers for the center channel. Used with Beolab 8000 speakers as the front and right channels, the 6000s easily became drown-out and muffled. The Beolab 10 keeps up with the Beolab 8000s without any problem.
