    Hi,

"Goto"- ">" and the MX will start searching channels.

If you have to switch between tv-systems, press SHIFT + 3.

The MX5000 supports colour system PAL B/G --  PAL-L and PAL-I for the UK as well as Secam for places like France as well as Type 3251 supporting NTSC A/V 4.43 MHz / 3.58 MHz

    Regards Keith....

    Re: Tuning of MX5500 tv

According to the MX5500 manual, the units sold in the UK are equipped to receive PAL I only.
and they are not equipped to receive the PAL/SECAM B/G or SECAM/L systems.

    Re: Tuning of MX5500 tv

If you would connect a Beocord VX5000/5500 to the MX 5500,
you could distribute audio&video to another room.

    Smile

Have you connected the MX 5500 to one of your Beocenters ?
sound from tv through Beocenter-speakers, sound from Beocenter through tv-speakers.

    Re: Tuning of MX5500 tv

Big Smilenot yet - need to make up some leads - previously used the bc's with an lg lcd screen and a grandin screen - the mx5500 will replace the lcd in the main viewing area - one bc in france 9300 = the other in uk - normally live at the french address with penta's - the uk uses wharfedale speakers

    well pleased with both systems!

just need to locate a set of keystrokes for the 1000 remote to fully control the mx5500!

    cheers
