thanks for the heads up on this one. my only comment ... thank gods. i can only hope that b&o will develop some sort of integrated solution for transporting digital / hd content.

I hope it'll remain compatible with ML cables... for those who have cable their house

As B&O are going down the ethernet route which in my view they should have done years ago, then it is unlikely to be directly backward compatible i.e. using existing ML cable. What they are likely to do is produce a ML to ethernet converter.

Keith - wouldn't this be something for you?

BeoWorlders - what do you think, should we not nominate Keith for one of these jobs? Beoworld would have an agent on the inside - and B&O would start producing products that are up to the latest specs and based on real consumer needs and wants (based on Beoworld's input of course)

 

(though B&O might say that Keith is over-qualified)
 

BTW. ML cable can be used as Ethernet cable. use it with one of our PC.

Others are there already - as I've said elsewhere on this forum (maybe not quite so bluntly) - "hurry up, your core technology avantages are being eroded as we speak"!!
