    LX5500 Questions. S-Video

I just connected my computer to my LX5500 TV. The picture is Black and White. Ive tried to change to Pal and etc but it dont matter. Still black and white. What should the settings be like in order to get color? Or what is the trick? =)

I also would like to know how to make the tv turn. Its works because when i turn on/off the TV it turns but i cant figure out how to do this using the remote.

     Thanks alot!

    Welcome to the forum!

SHIFT 9 toggles between S-VHS connector and AV1.

What do you mean with "turn"? Do you have a motor stand? Which remote control do you have own?

On the BL1000 you might try the button << and >> - though I´m not sure about this.

Are you connecting it through the S-VHS socket? Or via Scart?

    EDIT: Too late...

    Thanks :)

I just found the s-video in att the back of the TV. So now i connect directly without scart. And now i cant find any piture at all. In the menu should i choose V.Tape-1 or somthing else?

Yes I have a motorstand. But the <<< >>> dont work. Original remote. The motorstand might be broken, but it turns as i turn TV off :)

Press picture twice or three times and Stand will be shown. Then << or >> is used to turn.

I assume you have a beolink 1000 (without the LCD like the Beo4).

If you press Store twice when Stand is shown, the position is stored.

So if you turn the LX on, it turnes to the preferred position.

It doesn´t matter how many times I press [PICTURE], it works anyway. And I use [<] and [>] to turn the TV.

    Hi Daniel.Smile
If that is the case, how are you managing to change your colour or brilliance settings?

No need to, it´s an B&O!

No, seriously: I use [arrow up] and [arrow down] (the same I use for volume).
