    AV9000 error message

    Could anyone help me please,
    I have a Beovision AV9000 system Type 43/03 GDTSW
When I switch the TV on I get on the screen: 'Error1' (on the left hand side of the screen) and 'SW.1.10' (on the right hand side of the screen)
This system has given me many years of excellent sound and vision and I am disapointed that I am not able to use it at the moment. Hope fully you will be able to help me with a solution or re-set information.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks for your help.

    Steve,

A very warm welcome to Beoworld...

Given that the error message is displayed on the screen means that the power supply and HT voltage lines are working correctly.

The most likely problem here is going to be a microprocessor fault or something external to the processor which has triggered the fault.

When this error comes up does any function of the remote or buttons work ? I think the answer is going to be no, and if so, then this is certainly a microprocessor fault.

I suggest as a first step, you disconnect the system completely from the mains including link products and leave for 15 minutes and then power it all up again.

    Regards Keith....

My friend's AV9000 has the same problem! "Disconnect the system completely from the mains including link products and leave for 15 minutes and then power it all up again" did not help.

Our B&O service center told that the problem was in the fuse of a bottom part (where subwoofer), but we were not able to open this part because the back cover was glued...

    Re: AV9000 error message

Error 1 is a communication error between the monitor and the speaker / sound processor. Check the short Masterlink cable is correctly connected between the TV (screen) and the speaker (triangle base). Disconnect the masterlink cable from other link products to rule out a problem with another product on the masterlink network.

If error persists after depowering and checking the above, there is a fault within the AV9000.

I made mistake! We were not able to open MIDDLE part (where VCR) because the back cover was glued. I believe there are a lot fuses in the middle part (as in a bottom part) and one of them could have failed. N.B.: They look like black condensers which can be replaced.
