Does anybody know if the software built into the serenata is the same as if puchased from a Bang and Olufsen dealer or vodafone store?

I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be. I believe Vodafone got them from a local B&O dealer.(Knightsbridge) See THIS thread.

Hi Dave,

Andy's link is to my post on your previous thread. The Serenatas were bought in very small batches for only a few Vodafone stores in the UK. When I visited Vodafone Oxford Street, I was told they only ordered in 5. They were bought directly from B&O Knightsbridge (who are not a franchise, but actually owned by B&O) as standard. So in answer to your question, the software on your Serenata from Vodafone will be identical to a Serenata for sale at a B&O dealer.
