    Convert a 110 V CD 7000 to 220 V

Just brought a US model CD 7000 that is 110V powered. Unlike the other items in the 7000 series the CD one seems to be able to convert to 220 V by changing some jumpers. When taking the cover off the unit the transformer seems to be able to cover both voltages by changing the  jumpers. Looking at the other items in the 7000 stack there are no jumper possibillities. Can anyone confirm that if I just rearrange the jumpers on the US 110V model to the same as the European 220Vmodel it will work without a step down transformer.

I have looked at the service manual and suspect that you are correct - looks like the same transformer just jumpered to adjust for mains voltage.

I suggest that you send a PM to Dillen and ask him to confirm.
