I'm afraid this does nothing for me and I question a strategy that follows the 'TV on the wall' direction. Surely the people B&O target live in homes with space. Do they really want their TV on the edge of the room? Let's face it, a decent Samsung looks pretty much as good on a wall. I think B&O are making the mistake of trying

Kokomo, My apologies. I gave you incorrect information. My BC6 has the PD1000 STB option but it is not what I am using and you are correct that it does not control the hDR. I also have Humax CI5100 and CI8100PVR STB options and they both work. I prefer the CI8100 as it has a bit more functionality? Neither will call up the HDR's Media list however

Hi, I have a 2200 although no longer use it. They are nice looking items even if they are not "real" B&O. The display is lit by two tiny lamps which do eventually give up the ghost. A friend of mine with a bit of electronics know-how sourced some replacements from RS Components. They are 14v 80mA bi-pin filament lamps type T1.75. The RS

Thanks Keith and Opman for the replies. Yes, I have checked the blaster positioning and it is right over the IR window - and I have no problem with any of the commands once the Foxsat box is running. And it makes no difference if I turn the TV on in TV mode first. Just seems to be eratic - sometimes the Freesat box will start with the TV, other times

No ideas from anyone? Or is this just too simple a question? Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi there, This might seem like a pretty basic question but it's a problem that's beating me at the moment. I'm using a BC6-26 TV (with integrated DTV) together with a DVD player and Humax FoxsatHDR 500GB. The Foxsat is connected via scart to AV1 and set to V-Aux (STB) so I can control via the PUC, the DVD is connected via scart to AV2 and

Can't help you with the "Fox Sat H" setting but can tell you I use a Foxsat HDR with my Beocenter 6 using the "Humax PR HD1000" in the STB menu. It controls all of the basic functions I need to watch TV (stop, start, channel change, EPG, etc) and you can set up a scheduled recording from the Beo4 remote. Unfortunately can't

I have a Becenter 6 and yes there is a hiss on the sound on all sources although it is certainly not loud - you only really become aware of it if you get really close and turn the sound right down. Sounds like yours is worse. Never had a problem with the DTV reboot but the Freeview module is not very good. It looks great but is not very user friendly

I like your suggestion of expoding TVs - appeals to the heart if not the mind. Takes me back to Monty Python's exlpoding penguin sketch. On your - I think - more serous point, the problem is for the mass market cos like Sony there will always be someone who manages to break the code system. People used to sell the software to recode car radios before

Getting back to the original post, this is a problem not just with the ipad but will all tablets. They all - apple, Android, etc, seem to have problems translating some traditional PC platforms. I was hoping the BB Playbook was going to change things with its flash support but having tried it it seems rather clunky as well. Apple are not likely to come
