Hello again Keith Apologies - I should have been clearer - the beoport was dealt with by the shop in the way suggested in the replies here at the time of installation by deinstalling and then installing direct from the site. I am running windows XP, not Vista. The shop seems as frustrated as me and they don't have the technical backup/support from

Hi and thanks for helping ! They thought the problem might be the old beoport box and installed a new one last month and yes it is connected. Everything else on my desktop works fine.

I am new here and not particularly technically up to speed, so please forgive me. I have a beolink PC2 which was installed on my lap top. The lap top got a virus and I lost everything; the B+O shop re-installed the software on my desk top. I found that whilst the software worked, it scanned my hard disk every time and I lost all the playlists I had
