Do you have any other B&O equipment to test the remote with? If not, you can test it if you have a digital camera. Point the camera at the transmitting end of the remote and watch the screen as you press a button on the remote. If it's transmitting, you should be able to see the infra red LED flash on the cameras screen.

ESS (Electrostatic sound systems) have been making their AMT 1 series speaker since around 1973. They had a break for the past couple of years, but they are now back in production again. I have a set of AMT 1C dating from around '81 or '82, which I use as my main speakers. http://www.audiocircuit.com/index.php?c=ESS&m=AMT-1-C That's

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can. I use a Logitech Harmony 555 to control everything from one remote. Works well with all of my oddball equipment. Even works with my old Beosystem 5000, which only very few universal remotes can! I haven't yet had a look to see if it'll do the Beosystem 3000 though, but that's packed away in

I'm trying to figure out why neither the tuning meter or S lamps work in this Beocenter 3500 I have. Both transistor TR9 and TR16 on the IF board are good. I shorted the collecter and emmiter of TR9, and the lamps function as they should. The voltages I have on TR9 and 16 are similar to what the manual says. Are there any common problem points I

Ok, I cracked it open to take a look. There are only three of the multiplugs occupied (red circles) and several with nothing connected, maybe 6 or 7 connectors. If there is only meant to be the three connectors in use, then clearly there is a problem, which I don't think i'd would bother trying to fix... with analogue satellite being turned

Thats what I was doing originally.... pressing the combinations of buttons to try to get the menu to show after I had already pressed Sat. Would the Sat button do nothing if the module was disconnected?
