Right now, wobbling the SMMC4 on my BG2000: The Blues Brothers OST which I found in my dad's garage along with two crates full of 12" vinyl.

I've got a new favorite: A Beocom (possibly older series) on board the TARDIS as the ship's phone.
It's much easier to build than you think. Use a 4052 multiplexer for selecting the input channels. You can control the inputs by a switch or by a programmed Atmel Microcontroller. Use caps 1-10uf for decoupling inputs and outputs, your design is dc coupled and will have various problems with dc offsets. If you
Anyway, just an idea.
You just gave my salvaged Beocord 2000 casing a new meaning in its life. The gap which accepts the cassette tape is almost as big as a standard iPod dock, drop in the iPod, close the flap and hit PLAY like you're using a regular Beocord. And here's where the magic comes... if you
4. I am sure this is what the revised Masterlink will offer. Along with 1 and 3 - but not 2 I am afraid!
I'm a bit sceptical about a central media server -- it's something the entertainment business (record companies and all) DON't want you to have. Especially if the thing has DVR functionality and
I always considered them fairly reliable but I've seen a couple of dead TCA4500's recently. Why not just replace the chip and see if that cures the poor thing ?
Well, the internal oscillator (pin 15) doesn't show up on my scope display. It only seems to get DC voltage, no oscillation. IIRC the 19KHz
Beocenter 9000 wasn't equipped with 2-way communication. Only the 9500 had it.
Still, something is still interfering with the Beosound's way of operating, and since the problems started when the BC9000 was placed in the same room, that's the first place you could look. The two devices don't
As a footnote, the system was fine until I purchased an old B & O centre 9000 and installed that in the same room !! It went a bit haywire shortly after but had been fine up to then.
The two-way communication from the Beocenter might be messing things up, flooding the Beosound 2500 with IR (remote) information
Measuring the low frequencies is difficult due to room resonances (and I don’t have access to a sound-dead one…). I’ve made a near field measurement of the woofer – but no important difference is visible (see graph below - colour as before. "Scratch" at 600 Hz is the sound card - again

OK, little update on the tuner fix-attempt: I took the whole unit apart today and decided to start some trouble-hunting. More to the point, I needed to get the stand-by button fixed anyway, so I figured it would be a good opportunity to do some testing on the tuner section. So I connected the whole tuner bit up again, did some fiddling about, and discovered
