To me there is always a huge difference in cars. I dont know what it is but somehow cars to me seem to have characters. To finish the system off, it came with a pair of S607 speakers in Rosewood to match the GP. Quite nice looking but not sure what I will do with these. It would be a shame to split the system up so I expect I will stick them in the loft! There are a few chips in a couple of the corners but Im not too fussed about them. To make this even better it came as a full system with record deck and speakers. The deck is a bit odd in that it has two disks saying what type it is on it, is this normal? On the bottom corner it says type 42vf but under the tone arm it says type 608. Was the 608 purely if sold with a 608? This again works well but the stylus is, well, rubbish! Luckily

I have a compact and let me tell you that you will not be disappointed with it. Great looks and surprisingly good sound. Much better than a 900. I never really listen to mine and use it more as a bit of furniture for other systems to sit on but fired it up recently and was reminded just how sweet it sounds. Enjoy yours.

If they have just been refoamed they will "loosen up" with use. I found that my CX50's sounded very base light at first but sounded a lot better after a few weeks. Give them a bit of time and put the fluffy stuff back in.

Can I just say that my BV3 died (and my CDX) after our dishwasher caught fire and tripped out the electrics so it can happen. The other bits in the same room were fine and the avant downstairs was ok too.
