Hi all, I have problem with my Pentas. The sound is somehow fuzzy und unclear , especially with higher volumes. The midranges sound and feel almost mute. Most of the sound comes from the bass and high range elements. Foamrot is not an issue, the midranges were replaced about two years ago. There is no noticeable difference in a pair. What could cause

Cabling might cause an issue - if you wish to have the displays of the BL3000's working.

I presume we were competing in the auction (before I gave up)? Was it a nice pair? - the final price was still modest.

I was under pressure to replace Pentas in the living room by newly acquired 8000s by the SWMBO. To sort the issue I organised a side by side comparison. Soundwise Pentas won 6-0. Designwise it is the other way around. The Pentas are still in place (waiting for bargain deal with 5s).

Hi, I tested several players last spring: Sony, Philips, LG, Pioneer, Samsung - each for several weeks. Aim was to find the one with excellent picture and audio quality with Blu-Ray and good control with the PUC of the BS3. I could not get my hands on a Panasonic device to do the extended home testing so I had to rely on second opinion on that. Oppo

Thanks, Interesting, sounds like a logical explanation. One thing I do not understand is that what is the purpose of the two powerlink outputs in the BL2. Would a powerlink Y-splitter solve the case?

Hi, I try to add a second BL2 to my existing BeoSystem 3 7.1 setup to make it a full 7.2. The first BL2 is connected to the Subwoofer socket and the second daisy chained from the first one.
