Hi Kai, the BeoSystem 2 sends control signals to the monitor via a serial cable connection and, AFAIK, expects an echoed response from the monitor to confirm the signal got through. It would be well worth checking that the Samsung can accept this kind of input and uses the same protocol. It will also be worth confirming that the Samsung screen supports

Hi, I had recently purchased a secondhand BeoSystem 2 Mk I and wanted to run it with my Apple TV. So I ordered an STB-C table update chip. There may even be an updated version as this one was marked Western 425! However having replaced the chip (I did use an antistatic wrist strap) I get no picture at all!! I've tried going back to the old table

Hi TWG, thanks for your response. I'm puzzled as to how I do this as the BeoSystem 2 does not offer a component input and the digital audio input is coaxial. I have been able to convert the optical signal to a coaxial one but I'm not sure how I deal with the component input?

Hi, I would like to hear from any one who has an Apple TV working with a BeoSystem 2. Mine is the older variety without a PC input option. I wondered if anyone else has got this arrangement to work? If you have, what configuration in terms of cables/connectors did you use and what did you need to tell the BeoSystem 2? Thanks for your advice and suggestions

I too do not have FF working and wish I had. However I do not have fast scrolling working either. jk1002 how did you get fast scrolling going with a Beo4? I'd love to know.
