BC9000/9500

  • Re: Beolab 3 vs Beolab 9

The Beolab 9 is very fine for classical music and also other kinds of music. If the bass is to strong the speakers can be placed away from the corners and the back wall and settings set to "corner". They still have the deep bass (about 30 hz) and the upper bass (about 60 hz) is then lower.

  • Beomaster 6000 linktilslutning

  • Re: Speaker choice ? An old topic I found from (very) old forum...

Oh yes - many years ago I did own a Beomaster 6000 together with Beovox MC 120.2. This was a good match and the speakers did play as a dream for many years. Later on came Beolab Penta (3) and now it is Beolab 9. But sometimes I miss the "old sound"!

  • Re: Beolab 9 v Beolab 8000 + 2 subs

About 1 year ago I did need some replacement for my Beolab Penta 3. I did try Beolab 8000 + sub and Beolab 4000 + sub. I did end up with Beolab 9, - they are much better with a lot of power and you dont need the sub. By the way the Beolab 4000 + sub sounded better than Beolab 8000 + sub., but dont have the power of Beolab 9. I am using Beolab 9 together

  • Re: Beosound 3000 - Help

My BS3000 did the same after about 4 years. There was only one thing to - repair shop - and a new CD-unit.

  • Re: rubber or foam rings for midrange speakers

Maybe you should have ordered new midrange speakers from B&O. They still have them.

  • Re: Beovision LX5500 and Beolab Penta display problem!

Many years ago I did have the LX4500 (same as LX5500) and I did use Beolab Penta III and I could see all informations on the display - VX5500/Beosystem7000 etc. As far as I remember there is some settings in the Beovision menu about int/ext loudspeakers. Maby there is something there?
