Bvd!

Hi all, read several related posts on the topic of connecting a mac to Beolabs, but still not 100% sure. I currently have: BL5 connected with PL to Beosound 3000; I play MacBook Pro (MB) lossless audio via MB-audio-out and jack-to-AUX cable connected to AUX input of BS3000. Works fine. No obvious sound difference between a CD played on BS3000 or via

UPDATE - problem seems solved but in a strange way. a) removing the antenna's did not work, nor changing cables. b) I got a "second life" Beosound 3000 (thanks Gert-Jan!!) and replaced my 2300 with that, moving the 2300 to the bedroom. Reconnecting the Beolab 5 to 3000 and BL3's to MX7000 and "AUX"-ing the 3000 with 7000

I'll try that antenna suggestion at the earliest opportunity, i.e. tommorow evening and will let you know what happened !

Stefan, thanks for thinking along. No: when the BL5 are connected to the 2300 there is no problem, the problem arises again -albeit to a lesser extend- when in addition the BL3's are connected to the MX7000. BL8000 --> MX7000 <--AUX --> 2300 <-- BL3 : no problem (old situation). BL5 --> MX7000 <--AUX --> 2300 <-- BL3 : loud

The cables of the BL5 are the ones brought along by the dealer and did seem highly knowledgable -- but the again, I'm not! Before connecting the BL5 to MX7000 -with the new cables he had brought along- he said he had seen the day before that BL5 was not on the MX7000 compatibility list (or visa versa), but said "let's try it anyway"

Well yesterday my "second-life" Beolab 5's were delivered and installed by the B&O dealer. Absolutely gorgeous and I'm a happy man, but.... I turned out the BL5 cannot be connected without clicking problems to my 1999 MX7000 (clicks upon e.g. volume control) and my near perfect solution that I had up to now does not work (the BL5's

THANKS for your clear answer and additional recommendation too! Just found a B&O dealer nearby that offers a 2004 Beovison 5 "in perfect state" for a very attractive price...(but have to check it can properly display digital TV signals...).

Hello, I greatly benefit from my MX7000's "Audio AUX Link" 7-pin socket, which -connected to the AUX of my Beosound 2300- allows me to independly control the volume of both my Beolab 8000 (/w PL too MX7000) and my Beolab 3 (/w PL to 2300). Question: I'm considering a (second life) BeoVision flatter screen. Can I get with either the
