  • Re: Independence.

Well I have made a new friend through this site, Flappo the Grate, so I am extremely grateful for that. He is a 38 year old female from Uganda ( see http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=26652477 for further details) whose only interest in life is to be abusive through a number of online portals. My life would

I take everyone's points on board but do still hold the same opinion. Perhaps I have sounded harsh in stating it and that is a mistake. I have received excellent advice through this forum, absolutly, and I am very grateful for that. However, I also know that I pay a subscription so I am paying for the services I receive. Thanks Chris, I appreciate your response. Of course there is a vested interest, that goes without saying. Nobody sets something up for free at a cost to themselves, that purely isn't business practice, good or bad. Financial gain doesn't come into it, but all sorts of other gains do, such as being offered your own dealership and organising and

  • Re: BeoSound 9000 vs BeoCenter 2

Ebay is a complete joke. I sold antique golf balls on their up until recently when I decided to close my account and use professional auction houses instead, or deal privately. People want something for nothing on Ebay. If they are not complaining about the price they paid for the item, the unreasonable postage costs, or the packaging, they are complaining

  • Re: Would Beoworlders enjoy hearing live music through Beolab 5 / 9's??

I have heard the Lab 5s in a small concert type setting (lives blues/jazz to about 200 people) and they performed well and as one would expect I guess. Not sure what else to say about the experience as I am not too bothered either way how they are used. A speaker is a speaker to me, it repoduces sound and you use the appropriate one for the type of

Down to personal preference at the end of the day. I bought a BS9000 before Christmas and considered the BC2 because I like the fact that it played DVDs as well but for me it was an easy decision because the design of the BS9000 is a clear winner every time. I love it and listen to every day. The BC2 looks nice wall monuted and if you want to make use
