• Re: Beosound 9000 discontinued,,,,,
The BeoCenter 2 definitely should have been updated with blu-ray. As the cost of blu-ray players can now easily be found for around $100 USD, blu-ray has become more common. Since every blu-ray player can also play DVD, that makes the BeoCenter 2 redundant in home theater setups. I believe that in the early days of blu

  • Re: Any questions for the new CEO ?

Really anxious to read the full report! Thank you Lee and Peter for the opportunity given to ask questions to B&O's new CEO. You don't always get the chance to do that. Richard Ps. Congrats to Peter
"B&O always used to be 'space-age' and cutting edge with its design and function (think sliding doors, etc). When are they going to go back to having the 'wow' factor? At the moment everything is sort of becoming 'MOTS'....."
Agree! I love the design of BeoCenter 2. 12

    6) When you were CEO at Truimph Motorcycles, a company you revived from almost being dead, you more than doubled its turnover. With now being the CEO of B&O, a company in a far better shape than when you started with Truimph, do you expect to have the same impact? 7) With respect to revenue, how is the volatility in the currency market effecting

    1) As a shareholder of the company, I would like to know what you think could be done to increase shareholder value? Is there a need for strategy change, if so, how? 2) With the current global economical challenges, is it possible for a company like B&O to keep producing high end products without compromising on its pricing strategy? 3) From what

LOL same here . I still have my "good old" Avant with DVD player and very content with it!. But for about a year now, I have been contemplating to buy the BV10 46" and BluRay. I imagine it would be like upgrading from a VW Beetle to a Porsche Turbo. But as a Marvel and Bruce Lee fan, I wouldn't mind to wait for 3D to be introduced

Dear Mr. Mantoni, As a company, B&O seems to be fairly slow in adapting ever changing technological trends. Where, as it looks like, the majority of producers and consumers, both high and low end, are embracing 3D and Apple integration, B&O is failing to catch on. It is like Fiat's top model car being equipped with Tiptronic and Ferrari

Now that the 3D technology is introduced to the Beovision 4, is there any thing known if it will be introduced to the Beovison 10 series? Any one?

Hi mbee, Thanks for your reply. I guess time will learn if 3D takes off or not. The succes of it will in my view also depend on the supply that comes out of Hollywood. Fact is that according to a retail study in some countries, the consumer interest for 3D television increased in comparison to the "non" 3D models. In any case, I know there
