interesting - the lady at the shop said the same about flassing for missed calls, but i have a new one and it flashes when it rings (green) and is red when in use. i don't see it flash for missed calls though. is this a setting issue?

i think the BEO4 is too "old" for the present time. yes it is a tried and tested product, but surely B&O could have at the very least done a "Logitech" and simply update the housing with some minor tweaks and left it as a BEO4 with users continuing to love it. the Harmony One by logitech is a nice size, well weighted, comes with

[quote user="9 LEE"] If they didn't have the software to do it properly, they should have hastily ditched the developers and made it a glorified BeoSound 3200 / BeoSound4 hybrid just to get it on the market (it was in development for years!). An optional upgrade path could then have been developed to incorporate the system we see today

1. are you using a line-filter for the modem? (you need this in your secondary point as well even if there's no modem connected to this point) 2. if it has the handset symbol, the beotalk is not connected to the phone line per troubleshooting page. 3. do you know if your second phone point is working? 4. the power/phone line cable jack on the beotalk
