• Re: Advice on cleaning a Beolab 2

If the stain is bothering you that much, why not get it professionally sprayed to suit your room? My "bently grey" one I got from Lee is in front of my lab 1's. My B and O grey one is hidden away behind the avant.

8 inches of any sort of stone is going to be heavy, but the same in solid wood might be an option....? It need not be oak but if its natural wood make sure its kiln dried to what ever works in your neighbourhood. High density plywood stacked in layers is another option.
a solid speaker base of granite, or even wood is going to get to be extremely heavy. If the base is not solid, I am afraid it might affect the sound quality?
What are your floors, suspended or solid with covering ? I am guessing you would need to raise your 9's about 8inches give or take depending on your "slouch
Too bad B and O does not make some sort of riser for them. :)
Simple solution, make (or get someone) a stand of what ever height you require. I had two black polished granite stands made to put under my 8000's, it was for visual reason's. They were only 1centimeter wider than the base of the 8000's
