Hi apopboy. It's very seldom that the led itself is gone but it could the case,if the system works you can change the led by removing the lower glassplate you must remove the plate by removing 1 screw located in the left side bottom and push the plate to the right if I remember right be carefull many of them are loose.remove the tape and the white

hi bensa try to download the servicemanual as you are a gold member its a little tricky as it's a autoreverse mechanism and difficult to explain.by the way it's the same mechanism as the 7000 if that servicemanual is available regards jan
