In my opinion the height of the 9's is really the problem as even with a very low seating position the speakers emit the sound towards the back of your sofa.... @ Trip: Epic! If output simultaneously, the volume of the sources go down and ( at least in my setup...) you hear a strange KLICKING sound through the speakers .... believe me, this does not sound good.... don't try.... Best Stephan

As I recieved mine I was at first a little disappointed of the relative small bass output but after a few test calibration runs I received the best results as I cleared the entire room and did the calibration. I came from a 4x BL8000 plus BL2 setup where the bass was overpresent and I had to adjust my sense of bass to the performance of the 5's
