I wanted to mention another option for you. I have a Detoma power amp (D102) which drives some budget Eltax speakers. The Detoma is incredibly sweet and has B & O friendly plug sockets. This way I enjoy the best of both worlds - the beauty of the BS3000 and benefits of another manufacturers speakers
I like

Immediately I think of the Fostex PM-SUBn. It has in and out, with gain controls. It's also pretty cheap compared to most any other sub. If I remember correctly, it is relatively weak, approx 70w. But it I a sealed cabinet so should fare well regardless. There are many others. I'll post any if I think of them.

Samir, mbee has presented a serious topic. A primary reason for adding a subwoofer is for redirecting low tones away from your main speakers (BL3s). The B&W PV1 does not have a pass through, which means it will not do any filtering for your 'Labs, reducing the overall benefit of adding a sub. Find a suboofer that has inputs AND outputs. Your

Leslie, they are finished except I decided to re-wire / cross them. They had a couple problems which prompted this procedure. They didn't have equal output in all the drivers, and one developed a loose solder joint. I also think my crossover was not the best. I'm going to finally use those caps that Rich sent me, so I can experiment.

I'm not sure I want to show pics of this! It's a real spaghetti junction in there.

Just finished re-wiring one of my cube tweeters. Will do the other one tomorrow. This week will hopefully yield an external crossover box. I want these up and running soon, I miss their sound.
Bought a beautifull B&O cabinet for demo use of the Serene. It's a great looking cabinet with a heavy glass top on it and aluminium parts below. Inside is a motorized base. Now finally I can store my Serene and other beauties!
That is SOOO cool Leslie!!! My Serene was always on proud display, but not
