  • Re: Beovision MX 3000 sound not working. Have a fix?

Its a very long time since I tuned one of these models. From memory when in the tuning menu pressing Shift + 3 changes the version of PAL between PAL I & PAL BG. I think that model also supported SECAM transmissions. Perhaps some one in your part of the world can check which transmission system the set should be using. From experience in the UK

Also what are you trying to listen to? Analogue tuner in set or external box? If its an external box make sure that scart lead is properly plugged in at both ends. If you are using built in tuner check that it is set for the correct transmission for your country. Opman

Have you tried plugging in headphones to see if there is sound through the headphone socket? That may help a more techie person diagnose. Opman

For the record, Link + Phono command to the Link Passive = N.Radio on the BeoSound3000 Opman

Success :-) Link + A.Tape on the BeoLink1000 does the trick. The BeoSound3000 display shows the source changes from A.Aux to A.Tape but I still get the Airport Express in the kitchen. Result. Thanks for the suggestions Opman

  • A.Aux in link room

Hello All I have a BeoSound3000 in lounge with Lab4000's. I also have a pair of CX50's in kitchen on a Link Passive. BeoSound3000 is in option 1 and Passive kit is option 4 as its open plan and commands used to "sneak" to the kitchen hence the need for the "link" command. I have just installed an Airport Express to the A

  • Re: Beovision 6-26 V.s BeoCentre 6-26

To pre-empt any confusion. BeoVision6 26 was originally launched with a fabric loudspeaker grill. When the set had a radio tuner fitted and became BeoCentre 6 the speak grill was aluminium. Subsequently the radio tuner was removed and the set reverted to the BeoVision6 pre fix however retained the aluminium speaker grill. It is worth taking note as

Ah DJ, this takes me back to yesteryear when we spent many happy hours supping coffee in King Street and putting the world to rights. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said the world has changed. There is no argument with that andif Bang & Olufsen are to continue, they must also change. Opman

  • Re: Beosound 5 with Beosound 4

As BeoSound1 has recently been discontinued why not see if you can pick up an ex demo model at a keen price? This gives your wife the flexibilty to listen to the odd CD anywhere in the house. Opman
