I will soon wrap up my re-wiring project in my house and where CAT7 cable has been used for the MasterLink network. In my case I wanted to make use of ML-sockets on several spots in the house which then directly connects to the units; but from this thread it's mentioned that the since the CAT7 cabling is missing "+ Supply Voltage" I then

Well, updated the schematics for the ML-network to make use of proper star based network; all cabling will be done using dublex CAT7 cable. So now looking into making use of LexCom distribution central and the ML and Ethernet modules (gigabit are now available). So the standard LexCom DPM distribution central looks like a good starter. Any hints and
"The"-Bands (e.g. The Mars Volta ) are sorted by name without the "The" in this case under the Letter "M" ... is there a way to change it to sort it under "T" ?
Well, I would say that the sorting is doen correct; if you would go to record shop (or let's make use of library

Okay, thanks for the feedback; I also notice that Draka has Dublex cable which I plan to make use instead as the idea was to have double jacks where installed.

Regarding the Beomedia 1 and navigating without having the TV on; well that works fine. Well, as many other users I've started to look around for replacement of BeoPort and BeoMedia 1 and while the Encore is tempting but missing the still the Digital ML Ethernet bridge component which has been said to be around by now but been delayed. So SONOS seems like a nice option; has good apps for both Android and iPhone and best of all there
I am now filling the 1.8TB data partition with the contents of my NAS to see how well the BeoMedia handles large numbers of files. I will be copying 4117 video files that reside in 249 folders (1.34TB), 16114 music files that reside in 1022 folders (149GB), and 5064 pictures that reside in 79 folders (6.84GB). It will
After all updates are installed I think you should have Software version 3.02 & OS update version 3.05.
Jumping into this thread as well as I recently bought a pre-owned unit (1750 / HW version: 1.000) as well. Did as most other people have done; upgraded the memory from 256MB to 1GB and replaced the 160GB
